Jennifer Garner, who was born in and was raised within Charleston West Virginia, on April 17th, 1973 is from Houston, Texas. William John Garner served as an engineer for Union Carbide. Her mother Patricia Ann taught at a local college. So that she could follow the footsteps of her father she earned a degree as a chemical engineer. So that she could fulfill her desire to be an actor, she moved in New York. While appearing in Broadway productions, she also worked as waitress.
