Eve was born in London England the daughter of actors Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan. Jack George and Jack George are her twin brothers. They have been raised in both and the United Kingdom as well as Los Angeles. She was a student at Bedales School, and took A-Levels at the London's Westminster School. She was a student of English in St Catherine's College Oxford during her gap year. The student actress was in productions of An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers, Scenes from an Execution (which was staged to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival), and The Colour of Justice while studying at Oxford. Eve is a regular on dramatic television shows, such as the British Broadcasting Corporation's The Rotters Club Poirot and Hawking and the film Stage Beauty (2004). Eve was a key character in two films from the year 2006, Starter for 10 & Big Nothing. Both she as well as the co-star Simon Pegg used American accents. At the start of 2006, she stayed her time in India for work on the film Losing Gemma, a mini-series about backpackers. Eve was in two Trevor Nunn-directed plays. In 2006, the Royal Court Theatre presented her in Rock n Roll a Tom Stoppard's newest play in 2006. She reprised this role for the Broadway adaptation in 2007. The play was awarded the top supporting actor at the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers' Choice Awards for her performance. The actress played Roxane in the Chichester Festival Theatre. Born to an Indo British with British descendant Anthony Mitra & an Irish born mother Nora Downey. English actress Guyan Mitra is a mother to an older as well as a younger sibling. Jason Mitra was her father. Her younger brother is an acclaimed journalist for travel and his works have been featured in Lonely Planet and The Sunday Times.
